As a freelance exhibit developer I have worked on a wide
range of projects from a new science centre in Saudi Arabia to an outdoor
visitor centre for the RSPB. Over the eight years I have been working in
exhibit development, my role has been fashioned to fit the size and type of
project I am working on whilst good science communication and interpretation
remain at the core of what I do.
In working for institutions such as the Science Museum I have focused on developing and scripting content. At the Zoological Society of London I have led on the concept design, development and commissioning of a major refurbishment of the children’s zoo.
Many of my projects have focused on developing outdoor interpretation, particularly designing immersive environments and landscapes. I have a particular interest in exploring ways of engaging audiences using storytelling, script-writing and illustration.
